Faiths and Cultures

Get a taste of how each faith and culture group embodies elements of food sustainability through their practice.

Food sustainability and the ecological movement is a modern, secular movement with concepts such as 'flexitarianism' emerging. As such, the role of religion is often underestimated. However, food is a core concept in many religions with sustainability and food philosophy being taught and practised.

By viewing food sustainability through an interfaith lens, we can generate synergies through the sharing and discussion of knowledge.
