Makes around 90 cookies
500 g Margarine
250g caster sugar
250g brown sugar
50ml vanilla essence
Combine sugars and margarine until smooth
Sift flour and rest of ingredients and blend
Roll out to 1cm thick and use various cutters
Bake at 180c for 15min

With Jewish New Year - Rosh Hashanah - coming up this weekend, it's traditional to eat and gift food that is sweet to ensure you have a sweet year ahead. This year, Our Big Kitchen are also trying to bake 30,000 of these cookies after smashing their initial target of 15,000 bites of sweetness delivered to people all around Sydney.
