The Harry Jensen Centre is holding a morning tea and chat at 11am to promote RU OK? Day.
R U OK? Day is dedicated to reminding people to ask family, friends and colleagues the question, R U OK?, in a meaningful way, because connecting regularly and meaningfully is one thing everyone can do to make a difference to anyone who might be struggling.
This will be followed by a Moon Festival Celebration at 12.30pm. The festival is for lunar appreciation and moon watching. Mooncakes are offered between friends while celebrating the festival.
The Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn festival, is one of the most important events in the Chinese calendar, celebrating the harvest of the year. There is a Chinese saying about the Moon Festival that means when the moon is at its fullest, people come together.
Join in all the fun activities.
Come to both or just one celebration.
