International Student Programs and Woolyungah Indigenous Centre are proud to dedicate the first day of UOW Goes Global to a range of performances, activities and workshops celebrating Indigenous Australia.
As part of UOW Goes Global: Australian Indigenous Cultural Day, Errolyn Strang and Juundaal Strang-Yettica will be sharing their own bush tucker-inspired recipe in an interactive cooking demonstration and afternoon tea.
Join Errolyn and Juundaal in learning how to make 'Wattleseed' Anzac Biscuits - an Aussie favourite, made all the more special because of the role they played during World War I.
The participants are more than welcome to stay and enjoy their baked goods with some tea at the conclusion of the class.
This cooking class is free and suitable for people of all skill levels.
This event is jointly organised by International Student Programs and Woolyungah Indigenous Centre.
